A lot of these Rota Wheels on this site are showing them in our bolt pattern and in a 45mm offset. Ive heard that even though the offset is right, theres still a fitting issue and they need to be customized. Is that only for the slip streams/sub zero's, or ALL Rota wheels? Rishie, can you answer this for me, thanks!

cause if the rest are fine, the pricing on that website is ******* awesome. $500-$600 SHIPPED for a set of 17's. the other wheels look better then slipstreams / sub zero's anyway.

yeah i had the problem but it is only on the back 2 rims...there is a lil lip type thing that has to be cut or i had it dremeled off its about 2 millimeters that needs to be taken off...once thats is done it fits fine and worth the work

can anyone clarify if it is just the subzero's? or all the rota wheels?

well sure they are showing a +45 offset...but if you look closely they are 7.5 inch rims.....you are cutting awful close with that offset....Rishie recommends a +48 with a 7.5" rim....and you can do down to a +45 if you are getting 7's.

I have the Rota Battles.....they are +48...and are 75.....they fit wonderfully...

and NO you can't get the battles off of that site...as Rishie is the only distributor of the Battle in the US in our bolt pattern and corrct offset

The Battles are the only Rotas I would consider since I have always been a split5spoke fan.

Whats an ave price wheels only for a set of battles?

Contact Rishie....he can give you the information you want...seeing as how he is the only US distributor for them at the time.....if he doesn't have them...no one does.

so if I tried to order through here(not that I would without going through rishie first)

they would tell me they cant get em? also why does rota do a 48mm offset on 17" battles and 45mm on 18" wouldnt it generally need more offset as the wheel gets bigger?

im only checkin cause I can get pirelli 225/40ZR18 tires or for 17" I think my hookup only has goodyear eagle NCT 5's(which is what I have on my sotcks wheels now)
mmm cant wait for my birthday at the end of July, should get me the rest of the way saved for the wheels.

Sundevil,

if you look closely...you can't get a 17 from there that will work, they don't offer the correct bolt pattern....only in the 18...and then the offset is too small..its only +45...and with a 7.5" wide wheel you NEED a +48. and the offset has more to do with the width of the wheel than the diameter...as if you put the right tire on the wheel to keep the diameter as close to stock as you can the the offset will properly place a WIDER wheel/tire combo....the diameter will really not make that much difference.

NOW, they may tell you it will work or that they can put you in a wheel that will work? SURE THEY WILL....but then do you think that they have YOUR best interest at heart? HECK NO! all they want of yours is your MONEY!!!!

not to mention....I bet Richie can do you a better deal. go talk to richie....he actually put 18's on one of their cars....he can give you the straight skinny on the situation...and you can bet your ass he won't lie to you.

On a P5....with a 7 inch wide wheel you need a +45 to have it REALLY fit correctly.

Def. Not doubting you bro. I havve 17's with a 42 offset and they fit fine. no rubbing, i had a 375lb kid in my(i was a lil nervous)lol. I also had mad s*** in my car and another kid int eh back seat. I didnt rub one bit.

I woudl got with a 205/40 tire and nothing bigger.

I know a P5 with 40 offset 7" wide slipstreams and they rub on the outside with 205's. Just get the 7" with a 45 and you can run 215's

Thanks for the help Sir Nuke. This is why we do group buys on these wheels guys. In order to get correct hub size and proper offset we have a agreement with rota to order these wheels in groups of five sets and they will modify to our needs. If you guys need any help your more than welcome to ask me or NCSkaterMP3. Machii does not as far as I know offer any custom offsets or hub adjustments.

Thanks
Dave
