Rota Wheels

i've had rotas on my subie for close to 30k miles. i love them. they're cheap enough, light enough and definitely have been able to handle daily driving. i've read of people getting them machined through subydude to the correct hub bore for mazdas.

depending on the color of your car, sports bronze looks fantastic.

Suby dude seems like a fair guy too, I bought a shirt from him last year and he sent the wrong print, I told him that and he sent me another even faster and told me to keep the other. (dunno) Cant complain on that, fast shipping, great communication, and aims to please..

there's nothing wrong with strong and cheap, you can add comparably lightweight too. Now, to get suckered into buying expensive set of wheels that does the same thing as rotas does...there's something wrong with that. You're basically buying the name. When enough people realize rota is an ok brand and starts buying them rota will make a name for itself then people will buy a boatload of rotas, price will go up. It's the law of supply and demand. Even the expensive brands started out that way. Diference is rota have another marketing strategy...copying designs.

So I guess you spent a lot of money on your P5 putting on "genuine parts"...then sold it but never saw back the investment? Flame back.

if you have the money to spend on expensive wheels go right ahead. If you're not cheap with your cars you're probably cheap somewhere else. Unless your making 6 figures, you can probably afford to bu all the genuine parts. You sound like a real prick with your opinions. You can certainly say your opinion without being a real wide asshole. Dont turn flames on then turn it off as you want. Flaming is still on. By the way your P5 looks real rice. Please dont disgrace the speed3 by doing the same. I hope you're not spending $6000 worth of rice on your speed 3.

Not trying to start a squabble or anything but i see rotas all day too...one probably cuz i live in miami where everyone thinks they have a race car and two...probably just cuz they are cheap. Garauntee you dont see those 2-3 dollar set of volks as much as you see rotas...now thats standing apart. Trust me homie ur not the only one that wants their car different, my old p5 below is just one example. Ive never seen one anything like it down here in the 305 up until i sold it. As you get older ull see its a waste of money period...whether a 700 dollar set of rotas or a 3000 dollar set of volks. If its what you like to do and its YOUR money then **** it. Spend it. Hope i didnt piss anyone off.

I know what your qualms...You probably been beaten by a hooked up civic hatchback with rota wheels on em. That's why you're so pissed about a car with less expensive mods but can out run you. Not everybody is in this world is rich. So that just sucks for you.

thanks man, im gonna try and get the car washed so i can take some better pics, and yes there's more sidewall on the tires than the stock, almost flush with the fascade of the car, and i think if i had stayed with 18's then I would have had to get some small profile tires which i dont like, a bit too harsh on the rim and ride quality

I love my Rotas! But I do sometimes wish I had actual works Oh well I will eventually buy some advans for it but for the time being my rotas are just fine. I understand both sides of the knock off vs authentic though.
