2008.5 MS3
I have a 2008.5 MS3 with 36,000 mi. the only mods i have are MSCAI and Magnaflow CBE. I would like to do the RMM next, however i read about everyone using the ones from CP-E, Trz, and the one that Street Unit sells. But i can find no info. about the Corksport inserts that sell for 38.00. I do not want any vibes, was wondering if any members have done this and what they thought about this product. Any info. would be helpful or thoughts on this subject. Thanks.

Its gonna be give and take regardless of your choice. By that i mean you will either get a sloshy engine and no vibes, or a tight engine and better power to the ground with lots of vibes

just do a Google search of the motor mount you want to read about with "mazdas247" in the same search field...it works better than the search feature on this site

I'm with oaklandopen on this. I've had the TRZ for 20k or so and, yeah there are some vibes, but I don't notice it half the time. And when I do, it's because all my power is being put to the asphalt! It's worth going with something that you can tell a difference on.

I went with the CS inserts since it's my daily driver and I appreciate the lack of vibrations that come through. You will definitely notice a difference with the inserts, but obviously it is a compromise between stock and a new RMM. One of the best value mods out there.

Thanks for the info, I was also concerned about the vibrations too. I bought the inserts, just need to get them installed.

A couple tips, make sure you either get the car on ramps, or if using jackstands get the car as high as you safely can. Trying to **** around with a torque wrench under the car is a real PITA unless you have enough room. Ask me and my bruised knuckles how I know...

I think when people hear about these they think the car vibrates all the time. I have a sure motorsports billet mount with the track urethane and the only time it vibrates is Starting out in first gear. It doesn't really bother me it just let's me know it's working.

Well, you're right about "vibrate" only in first gear. Really it's' more at idle and with A/C on for me. Either in neutral or first gear. But the SURE mount, even the street version, also gives my car a "gritty" sound inside the cabin with the windows up pretty much any time I'm on the throttle in any gear. That is actually from the tranny and differential noises being transmitted through the urethane to the billet to the chassis. it's not a deal breaker, by any means. This is part of the price you pay for stiffer drive train.

People would not tolerate this in a factory stock ride, and it does detract from the otherwise beautiful sound of the exhaust, but it's better than missing 2-3 shift half the time when at WOT.
