Subscribble! My Shizzle.
So if I run a +40 offest, what's the widest tire I can fit without rubbing on a sedan? 225/50/16's would have rubbing issues I'm sure. 215's are hard to come by in 16" diameter, so would that mean I'd be stuck running a 205wide tire?ARD MP5 said:If running a 16x7.0 wide wheel please run a +43 and higher. This is relative to tire width as well.

afaik, wheel spacers will only make it worse.Rickman said:Ok, I'm a newb about wheels, but if I really like a set of wheels with a +40 offset is it as simple as buying wheel spacers to make them fit ok?

And if it is that simple, what's the reccomended amount of offset to add to a +40?

the 215 tire is 215mm wide while the 205 is 205mm wide. obviosly 205 is smaller than 215capnsavem said:stupid question probably...
