I have a 2007 mazda 3. i bought the car with 16 inch rims. i bought the 17 inch rims off ebay with the oem tires on them. i know its barely off on the speedometer when i put them on, but if i wanted to calibrate the speedometer, how would i do it?
and also do i need to calibrate the TPMS?
help.

the TPMS no it as far as my knowledge (correct me if wrong) those are sensors tellin the main head in the car wat the pressure is so its the main head that knows what it should be. so it should be fine i went from 17's to RX8 with its own sensors and it worked perfectly fine! now went to other 18's with same sensors and still works fine!
as far as the speedometer it should not be off at all! 16, to 17s is nothing! i went from 16 to 20 on a truck and it made a crazy difference but doubt 16 to 17 will..

Different rims/tires

You can check it out here :

Just compare your 16" stock tire size to the 17" stock tire size, and it will give you the speedometer difference (if any) based on tire sizes.
TPMS shouldn't be a problem as long as the 17" rims have sensors, or just transfer the old ones to the replacement rims.
