Rims and Tires

I currently have factory 215/45/18 on my MS6 and purchased new rims due to hitting a pothole and bending my factory rim. I purchased a 225/40/18x7.5 package. My only concern is that I dropped the car 2 in. front and 1.5 in. rear. Will this new tire/rim package cause any problems?

Maybe. depends on how many passengers and how aggressive you drive. Some people rub, some dont...

I don't believe that any of the 225/40 tires out there have the required load rating for the MS6. Plus, you'll bend another rim that much easier.

What is the required load rating for a mazdaspeed 6? ive seen 225/40's rated at 92W which means they can handle over 5,000 lbs right?
The higher the tire's load index number, the greater its load carrying capacity.

89 = 1,279 pounds
88 = 1,235 pounds
87 = 1,201 pounds
86 = 1,168 pounds
85 = 1,135 pounds

92 would be 1,429 lbs 1,429 x 4 =5k+
