ok guys i need some help i jst bought a new set of msr 105 18x7.5 inch wheels with an offset of +45 and i have 215/35/18 tires on it will they fit my p5 which is dropped 2"?

You should not have a problem with fittment. I wanted to put a set of wheels like that on my MSP, but a slightly larger side wall I think like a 215/40 or 45. You SHOULD not have a problem with it though. If it rubs anywhere it may be in the back against the fender, it which case all you might have to do is role the lip, it will give you the extra little bit of clearance that you may need.

I have 18's with Eibachs and they rub a little in the back. You have a little bigger drop than Eibachs, so I don't know...you'll most likely have to roll the fenders.

with only a +45 on an 18/7.5 with a 2" drop and 215's you are going to rub in the back...for sure. to keep from rubbing you will have to do one of two things...either have a reputable machine shop machine off 3mm off of the mounting hub of your wheels....or roll the fenders....

hey guys is there a "howto" for rolling the fenders or can some one tell me step by step cuz i dont want the paint to crack or any thing please help

uh, go to a shop. not a good idea to try something like that with a dremel or something stupid.

Well, seeing as no one understood my first post, I guess I'll explain.

I meant that it is hard enough getting the 18s on a non-lowered P5, much less a lowered one.

But I guess I was wrong, seeing as how darn near every post contradicted me!

hehe

if you have the correct offset (+48 or higher) and go with a 35 series tire...you can easily put 18's on a P5....but when you don't have the right combo...you are going to rub like mad.

I had 19X7 Arospeeds on my 2" lowered P5 and only rubbed the front when cornering hard. I ran 215/35 with +45 rims.
