Have anyone ever tried to rev MA-engines harder than 6500rpm? I have got severel conrod bearing failures when going over 6400rpm, but keeping it under 6300rpm will make it last almoust forever. Why it actully happens? I think some racers must have been working with this, but where to find such a person?
Running it, say 7000rpm, would give average piston speed of 22.9 m/s, which is quite a lot. Stroke of 98mm is poison for revving, but sharp rpm limit on 6400 must be caused be some other fysical fact than average speed. Anyone??
