Retaining camera on 2010 CX-9 with 4.3" Bose screen?

Oh I see, what about the BU camera? Is it oem or did you change it? I don't think the quality of the camera in 2010 is comparable to today's aftermarket ones, but would an after market camera fit in the oem place?

OE camera. The new headunit makes it a little better display, but nothing like a new one. Not a concern for me.

Same here with the new HU showing a better image with the OEM camera than the original Bose system. I had heard that the tsunami that hit Japan back when my 2012 was made caused some quick production changes and resulted in the lesser quality camera being used. My OEM system didn't even have the 'lines' as most backup cameras have. I had lived with it for a long time but it's nice to have a decent image now.
