Hey guys, I just confirmed with Eclipse 21 friend Son that they are shipping me the lip and grill today. Hopefully both will be painted and installed by later next week. Of course pics will follow. On a sad note, driving back from IREV in NJ, my drivers side eyelid flew off. Just order another for 20.00 but free shipping.

hey congrats on the purchase. youll love it :) too bad about the eyelid though heh, glue it on next time lol jp. hope to see pics later! - chris

my lip came in and im not sure about the fitment yet, i tried to put it on but it doesnt look like itll be too easy to do it....im going to try and cut and fit it on better, hopefully it wont take too much work to get it to fit perfect...but as of now, there are some gaps in between the bumper and lip when i put it on, even if i try to force it to make fit good, theres still a gap....ill try harder today

duMb KeoLa: Are your gaps on the sides? If so I'm having the same problem. I was hoping to simply just bolt it on but looks like I need to figure out other ways. I dunno yet but maybe I can still get the sides to be flushed. I'm in the process of getting my new bumper as my original one maybe warped (from a little acccident I had). Hope fully by Thursday I'll have my new bumper and begin to install on it. If all goes well I'll get it painted by mid July.

the gaps are by the passenger side fog light, thats the biggest one, right in front of it, so it would look dumb to put it on like that...if anything, im just thinking of molding them together...but thats gonna be some dollars!!! eclipse!! where are you man, is this common or did we get a bad batch??? hopefully something can help us! thanks

BUT!, then again, yes, the gaps are on the ends if i try to make the front flush....its not gonna stay flush for long though, cause it seems that i have to force it up there, so i would either have to glue it or screw it, and that will look ghetto!

Well I'm contemplating weither I should glue it, tape it or maybe bondo it. I just bought bondo made for plastic applications, and well it seems ok to use, but I'm not no expert so spending a little cash for pro's to just find a way to install it is the only way. On Thursday I'm going to pick up my new bumper (cost me $190 not painted) from the dealer, dude I hope it fits in the back of my pro5.

Well getting a replica lip and grill, I wasn't expecting perfection. I was expecting some work, and it is just some work that needs to be done. Hey at least I got a lip and gril combo for less that what you can get just the lip from the real thing, and shipping wasn't losing a leg for it.

Now my only worries is after I get it all installed and painted...I have a 20 minute highway commute to work, me wonders if I can still use my bra:D

i'd just leave it alone.....
it doens't look bad...
I get my car back on Friday.. i post up pictures of the lip and grill which i bought from eclipse_21 and his friend son...

Hey Edison_Chen, how long did you not have your car? I'm hoping I wouldn't be without my car for more than 3 days, cause I don't want to take out a weeks vacation time on just getting the car painted, like to use those days for pleasure not waiting:D

It could possible take like a day or two...
They have to paint, and install it..
Because my car was vandalized.. they have to repaint some parts of my car. I dropped of the car at the shop on wed aft. and i'll pick up on fri aft..

The color is Laser Blue.. i hope they do a good job to match this color..
