Replacing Fog Light Bulbs

Is the only way to replace the fog light bulbs on my 02 MP5, by taking off the front bumper?

No just remove the foglights from under the car. The bumper can stay on.

Take the splash guards off from the bottom, there will be a nut where the fog attaches to. Take that of and there you go. There is a small clip that holds the harness in place that comes out easy. Until that clip is taken off the fog light can only come out so much.

it's actually quite easy. The only problem is the fact that most of the bolts are seized, as were mine.

The dealer had to heat them up to loosen them. It took two guys and 1/2 and hour for my passenger side fog. The driver's side was slightly easier as I tried myself 1 week before after greasing it with no luckkk....

just make sure you get an 90* degree angled short screw driver BEFORE taking out the lights...i ended up walking to napa...dammit
