Replacing Driver Side Door Catch

Hello all,

Thanks for letting me be part of the forum. My daughter was opening her D/S door in extreme wind and it caught the door and snapped the door catch KB7W58270. I will replace my self but wondered if anybody had any tips.

Once the panel is off will I have easy access to replace the door catch?

Are you talking about the thing that keeps the door from opening too far?
There are some links to online manuals on this forum that could help for removing the door panel, which is about the same as most other cars but of course you might need Mazda/Toyota sized plastic push pins to replace the ones you break.
