removing side mouldings....

just out of curiosity, are the moldings still usable after removed? What i mean is, do they get all bent up or deformed when removed. (obviously new adhesive would be needed...lol)

I've removed all the stick on badges, just haven't gotten around to the moldings yet. Not that i really care if they aren't re-usable, just curious is all.

Hey solo, are ALL the badges stick on??? Been thinking about wiping the car clean so I'm curious if I need to fill any holes....

The moldings are this weird kind of rubber. They don't get deformed at all, in fact they will flop over a table if you don't support them totaly flat.

I would say you could very easily restore them if you wanted to.

I took off the mazda 3 emblem from the back, and I used the fishing line method...be aware: there are three holes that hold the "mazda" part of the emblem on...none for the "3"

As for the 2.3 on the sides, I kept them on...but I may take them off, because right now they are "floating" on my doors. can't decide what to do yet (dunno)

luckily I got that axela badge that not only "cool" but also added like 10whp! that covered the holes perfectly...how's that for style and performance?!

correct, only 2 are stick on "2.3" and "3" the rest have pins.

or an SP23 badge will do the trick

hahaha, funny. Thanks guys....I'm not sure what to do w/ the badges yet...I kinda lik ethem, but I also like the clean look too...(keeps 'em guessing)...And replacing them for other badges would be pretty sweet too...Imagine replacing the 2.3 with a 5.0 badge...ahaha NEVER!
