Anyone know the easiest way to remove the front grill?? Well, maybe I should first ask whether it would look better with a FMIC and no grill, or keep the grill on? ANyone with any pics of the grill removed with and/or without a FMIC??

yeah, when i get my MSP i wanna remove the grille...i think it'd look cooler w/o it...hmm...what about a black anodized FMIC, too ? that'd be too insane...ohh boy. i gotta get one of those !

I'd stickwith the regular intercooler (i know its boring, but i like it). I'm just trying to first of all, figure out how to get the damn thing offwithout cracking anything, or taking off the front bumper. Well, I guess I'll have to take off the bumper anyway to get that Injen CAI intake thats coming up soon.

Unfortunely the front bumper does have to come off for the front grill. There are tabs that you need to push from behind the grill piece. If you can access them, then more power to you. But it would just be easier to remove the bumper cover which isn't hard at all.

I took my bumper off to remove the windsplitter. It's definately not hard to do at all and if you try to pry the grill off without doing so, you'll more than likely end up breaking off the clips that holds it on. The bumper without a grill looks akward, but then again, I dont have a FMIC to fill up that space. :D

I'm just worried about scratching up the paint, or as i have done in the past, losing the damn screws. I suppose this will give me something to do though.

I want to replace that plastic grill with a thin black metal mesh as seen on EVO VIIIs.

That wouldn't be to hard, people make the "Home Depot" grills which are sorta of ok looking.
Just would have to custom make some small brackets to hold the grill since it wouldn't be supported by the factory grill.
