Removing Decals

Any suggestions on how to remove the pin-striping and "mazda3" decal?

just removed them today. i saw in some other post people talked about holes behind their badges. well i was able to pull the "3" and th "2.3" from the sides no problem but the "mazda" in the back of the 08 mz3 does have holes in 'em...fyi

go to a truck or car decal store and get vinyl stickers that cover the holes. need to match the color.

IMHO, I think leaving the badges on would look better than a piece of vinyl covering the holes.

I recommend Goo-gone for pin stripes or 3M.

I used 3M cause it was stronger...

The pin stripes should just peel off. I've done this plenty of times. The Mazda3 emblem is going to be tougher. Use some dental floss and take your time. Once removed, use some good wax to remove the residue. Good luck!

go to home depot and buy the nylon 1/4" locking hole plug from the hardware dept. It will fit right in. But first get some touch up paint and let sit overnight before installing. Also you need to pull out those plastic things that hold on the emblems, but be careful with that you can scratch it easily use a plastic pry tool.

dude they come of like nothing, the pinstrips your mazda dealer will do it for free, and the labels i just used floss/car wax
