Removing bugs on paint question

hi guys,

what do you use to remove bugs and bug stains from youre vehicles paint? I want to remove it without scratching so I wanted to know the best way to do so. Best way to remove them off of paint protection film without damaging the film? Thanks guys.

Brad I use this, it not only removes the bugs it repels them so you won't ever hit one again as they avoid your car

I usually just use my pocket knife, but if there are sandpapers lying around, those work well too.

Personaly, I like to use a blow torch. Turns all the little buggars to dust in no time at all with no physical contact with the surface.

Paint thinner works well too.

Wear gloves and eye protection when using solvents please.

A simple detailer should do the trick. Or water. It doesn't seem that difficult to do.

Mazda needs to address the problem with insects getting into the paint booths. Once the insect is trapped in the paint, and the paint dries, they are effectively encapsulated for the life of the vehicle (short of repainting).

My car was delivered with a dragonfly, 2 cicadas, a wasp and three fireflies all embedded in the paint. There's really not much you can do about it.

I bet those fireflies give you a realy cool LED effect!

My paint came with embedded metallic flakes, no embedded bugs.

A thorough cleaning, a coat of good wax with elbow grease, clay bar, a second coat of wax.
