take the two scres out that hold it in and then you need to feed the wire out. im not sure if taking it all the way out is in your best interest unless you have some good way of fishing it back through the wing and out the holes. i would take the wing off, unscrew the light screws and pop it out enough to spray it. cover the wing with something and lay it in the grass or something.
thats what i would do. my wing broke. so i mounted the light on the deck lid as my 3rd brake light. so i didnt have to worry about pulling the wire bac k through out the bottom of the wing.
