Remote Starter Recommendations

The factory remote start is a separate fob, and if you have advanced keyless or not, still have the same remote start fob, so that part does not matter. I don't know a good brand, but can offer this tid bit of advice: The cheap kits at walmart, target, etc, have a high failure and/or fire rate (yes they catch fire), would not recommend these.

I'm thinking of getting a viper remote start.
I have the instructions for installing the oem remote start. This could be helpful for the installer since it has the wiring diagram. If going aftermarket I would recommend getting the oem remote start harness to make it more plug n play and easier for the installer. I'll scan the instructions when I get a access to a scanner.
