Saw this in The Truth About Cars: BREAKING: Finicky Mazda Remote Start App Has Stopped Working, Power Outage Blamed

I was looking at getting this for my new cx-5, but I just don't think it makes sense for exactly reasons like this. I think its best to go with an aftermarket app from a company whose business is to make remote start.

Or else commit yourself to always starting the car by physically pressing the start button. Oh, horrors!

Ultimately, I agree, I am not getting any type of auto start.
