I need a quick reply to the subject question. I have heard of adding a remote trunk opener with a auto starter, is that true?

How much did it cost and secondly do you have a part number for me please

my mazda 6 2007 touring edition came with an electric truck opener. ( stock ). I was advised it would be alot cheaper to buy a starter elsewhere as all mazda does is send the car out.. pays the bill.. then charges you for the transport.

So.. i suggest 1 ) Check if your car automatically comes with an electric trunk.. and 2 ) Purchase the starter elsewhere....

From what i understand, the easiest way to do this is to have an aftermarket alarm, and an extra aux button. This would activate the actuator, which in turn would pop the trunk latch.

Remote trunk release installed with remote which has all the keyfob original actions..310 CDN installed...thanks for the help
