I did the same thing. The ES looks good, but with the conversion it looks better. I kept my ES spoiler. I don't like the MP3 spoiler.

Looks like all you need to do is shave the side mouldings and side emblems, add the lip splitter, and get the satin finish badges.

Then, aside from lowering, exhaust, etc you're set!

I feel the mp3 badge is ok because i have the mp3 body style, and the mp3 cdplayer. therefore the only that i am missing from being a TRUE mp3 is the suspension

And the intake manifold, and ecu, and exhaust, and interior fabric and nardi steering wheel and shifter and pedals and floor mats and side markers and euro steering rack .... and you don't even have the correct stereo system.

WO WO WO! Easy with that s***! People with MP3s and MSPs forget where the hell their cars started from. Without our lowley protege DXs LXs and ESs your cars wouldnt even be here. So show a little respect would ya. He obviously has the common sense not to go around telling people that his car is a real MP3.. but even if he didnt, who the hell cares?. Hey now, I never said it didn't look good. Nothing wrong with doing the conversion but putting the wrong badges on any car is just annoying. Besides, the MP3 badges are ugly. Better to get the "mazdaspeed" ones. Those look nicer

What did you use to blackout your taillights? Could you email me some more pics of the taillights only a little bit closer? Either that or just post them, whatever. I've seen that spray but can't remember the name of it now.. Is that what you used? How do you think it'd look on a spicy orange car?

those are smoked tails, i bought them off of nate0123, who bought them off of someone else on here. they are basically just spray painted with that spray tint stuff, then painted again with a clear coat.

say you wouldn't still happen to have the ES Wing would you? If so interested in selling it to me? I would love to have the ES wing on my MP3. The MP3 wing looks good but it's just a little too big for my taste.

Also, It looks great man. You have a sunroof and it makes me very Jealous!!! I would really like to get a sunroof put in but just haven't seen and aftermarket sunroof installed and look clean enough for me. You can tell they cut a big hole in the roof and put it in. Oh well. Congrats.

and I see you have some curb rash on that wheel. I have it too, and it only gets worse cause it just keep chipping. I'm thinking I'm gonna have to send em out to get redone. Any ideas.

yeah ive got curb rash on three of the four wheels, but im just gonna live with it for now. i park on the street all the time, so theres not a whole lot i can do about it. its not worth it right now for me to get them touched up.

yes i do have the stock wing, it was only used for like 10000 miles, so there arent any bruises or anything. how much you looking to pay for it? i was planning on hanging onto it, but i might be able to part with it.....
