Redline shifter

Hey

I getting a MSP shifter for my Protege5 and I am thinking about getting a redline goods shift boot. Now they give you an option to make the shift boot shorter does anyone know how many inches shorter I should get the boot?

It really depends on the shifter. On my Perrin adjustable SS the shifter is actually taller and then the stocker and the shifts are still shorter!!! So the stock boot isnt talk enough or welll doesnt stay up on its own.

It is shorter then the stock shifter but how much I couldn't tell you.

your sig shows that you're still looking for a short shifter. i'd wait until i actually have one before ordering the shift boot. as StealthWyvern points out, it may be longer than stock. with my b&m, i know i'll need to order one that's 2" shorter. i believe that it's the same for the msp short shifter...

Oh ya sorry I forgot to change my sig I already bought an MSP short shifter! I am just waiting for it to come!
