Red 08 STI

I saw one today at the dealership while I was coming home from the hobby shop. I wasn't too impressed with the looks. The front end was too pointy and the hood was sloped like a civic or something. The rear end also looked too "FAT" for the front. Just didn't look as good as in the pictures. I think the MS3 is far better looking.

STis are out. i saw one last week at the wild animal park. i like the way they look. especially since there's 8.5 in. factory wheels on it.

I love it! BBS and Nav + a sport grill just shy or 40,000!!!!!!!! Thats why I drive a Mazdaspeed 3.

I wish STI's would've been priced slightly under 30k they would've sold a whole lot more but I do understand steel prices are going up and R & D costs. However I'm sure they didnt revolutionize their design all over again....

It was at Kearny Mesa Subaru on Convoy St. and they have three in stock, 2 Lightning Reds and on WR Blue Pearl. Range from $35640 bare bones to $38143 with BBS wheels. Too much money for me right now. Don't get me wrong, I think the car looks good, just not as good as it does in the pics and definitely not as god as the MS3. Granted I was driving by and didn't get to stop and look at it better, maybe if I stop and look it will change my mind, but I doubt it.

The new wagon/hatchback STI is not out yet. It should not be on these shores till feb. A buddy of mine has placed a pre order for his already.

I told you it was ugly anyway Happy new year my good MS3 owner firends,Forum emebers and sponsers

I will go to the dealers and take pics if everyone want me too. It is also up high on ramps so I can get pics of the underside also.

those cars (evo x as well) are going in the wrong direction, i think they forgot why people buy them. they re heavier beyond the capability of the "new" hp rating to overcome the added weight so theyre slower. still expensive though , now theyre definetly not worth it.

07 STi lists at 3351lbs. harman motive's 08 Sti came in at 3338. i'm not arguing performance, i haven't seen much yet, but heavier? nope.

they are retarded expensive, though.

THe sti looks better than the evo x though. But both cars did take a step or two backwards, the weight gain and price gain.
