Recomendations for Replacement Low Beam Bulbs - NON-XENON Type

Like many others, the headlights on my 04 are poor. I have polished the lenses crystal clean with the 3M kit and they look great. I even adjusted them upward slightly as they seem to point low (an issue I've heard others rail about as well). My next option would be to replace the bulbs. Again I DO NOT have XENON lights and installiong a HID kit is something I don't want to do now.

I see the Hella bulbs for $35 from Tirerack and the PIAA ones for about $70. I don't want to get the Silverstars and deal with constant replacement but I would like to hear what others may have done. For anyone with the Hellas or PIAA's let me know how they work and if the lifespan is acceptable. Thanks

If you're sticking with halogens just go with any generic halogen lamp that meets the stock lamps' power ratings. Don't spend the extra for crazy expensive ones.... they're never worth it and generally burn out twice as fast.
