and hi mike (hi)

What's going on Hank!

For the record, that isn't my car in Lisa's pic. Just thought I'd play along a little bit since no one would likely admit to it ;) I keep mine CLEAN as seen in the pic below (which omit many of the tasteful mods I've done.)

The picture of the curb feelers has got me thinking though...hmm

Yes, that second pic is an older one, but I like the sunlight on my silver :) I have JDM tails and some other fun stuff that I've just not gotten around to photographing. Maybe this spring!

what is a curb feeler? I don't get it (scratch)

They were stylized by pimps driving oldschool caddy's traditionally with rims more expensive than the car itself. They are meant to clang on the curb to warn you so that you don't accidentally curb your 24 carrot gold diamond encrusted spoked wheels.

LOL I saw an SUV with feelers on. I believe they were attached to both sides of each fender.

omg what the hell happened to that P5....why must people do these kinds of things.(confused)

parking something as small as the protege shouldn't need "feelers"... :p

lisa, check out all the nice cars at the mall the next time you're there...i can't believe the number of high (and low end) cars with wheels that are just mangled.. :'( ...it's a crying shame!! i'm not advocating feelers but a whole bunch of people either just don't care or can't parallel park real well!!(shrug)

I definitely think it is a combo of the two.. :)
and good thing the mall isn't parallel parking so all the people with nicer/expensive cars don't have to worry so much about curbing them..

a guy i work with let someone borrow his car one day and when he got it back, the front driver rims was all ****** up. he traded in the 3 good ones and paid for a forth chrome rim instead of the old black rims. the feelers have the right idea but they sure dont belong on a protege.

Man, everybody knows that car is mine... I'm the only person around here who is a big enough dork to rock that....
