One total person says it happened to his car.

One dealership flunky said its happened on LOTS of other cars. And yet I (nor other Mazda junkies) have NEVER heard of it before. No offense to wongpres, but almost every dealer type, however helpful, and whether a board mod or not, will tell dire stories of DIY maintenance to get people to pad dealership pockets for their highest margin business - service

So, until someone shows me proof that all these things did in fact happen to all these different and numerous cars with the MZ 2.3l I-4 - I call BS on that.

hello iam a new member and i need some help..i have a 03 6i with a stange felling in the steering wheel ...its not a noise you can only feel it you cant hear it. my dealer told me that tech line has not heard of this!!!! anyone out their have this problem!?????

Hey steel6i, did you check your steering fluid resovoir(SP?) and hoses leading to for leaks? Not saying it isn't possible for it to hapen to just like 5 or 6 vehicles but I had my 6 get hit by a truck (front left tire) and everything still drives like new. also look around the seals of your door for rust spots or else you won't see them cause the seals cover them up nicely. If you havn't gotten the notices or the dealer hasn't perform them go in voluntarily (with reading material) and submit your vehicle for fuel odor and rust check. It's under warrenty so no wories about anything but cost of gas prices (headshake
