Recall

Has anyone else received a recall notice on the front crash point sensor?
Just got mine in the mail today. :'(

I'm setting up the appointment

at least it's not something that makes a wheel fall off (like on the 78 thunderbird where the lug bolts weren't long enough *giggle*)

I got mine today, I think I'll have them fix the tire rubbing problem and look at my brakes also.I mine as well knock all the problems out in one visit because visits to the dealer are never nice when you need something done free of charge.

from the recall sheet, it's explained the the sensor itself has a small crack in it that water can leak into causing it to fail and hence, the reason why people have been getting the airbag light going off.

I just waiting for the rear brake recall!!!!!!

I got it fixed back in February, Air Bag light was coming on and off all the time.

Got my letter in the mail yesterday! I already had mine replaced about 3 months ago, because the airbag light came on! I guess I should have it checked anyway?!?!?

I got it replaced, it was relatively painless

oh, except I got to rent an 03 ford focus... that thing has NO front leg room.

and it runs on lackluster squirrels it seems.

and I had my usual "whoops this is an automatic" moment where I smacked the brake pedal with my left foot and panic stopped the thing in a parking lot
