Just received Recall Notice for "Non-Compliance with Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standard #301"
Certain vehicles 2014-2016 CX5 produced from June 27 2013-February 2-2016 fail to conform to the above Safety Standard.
During a crash the fuel filler pipe may rupture and leak fuel, causing possibility of fire.

The same recall in the US has been discussing since Jan. 31st under CX-5 Lounge:

My bad, I do not usually read the Lounge :-(
The only difference would be that Canada is a bit slower in issuing recalls??

It seems to be a consensus that the recall notices only get sent out when parts become available. I just got my notice on Saturday.

I also just got my recall notice Saturday however dealer had done the work on my car weeks before that

Other reasons for staging can be so as to not flood the dealers with a pile of recalled vehicles at once.
