Rear hatch door lock won't lock?

I was just on a thread dealing with locking of rear hatch door .

I just changed the batteries in both fobs. I haven't tried the other yet but can't get hatch to lock even using inside door lock button.

Will try the other fob but I know new batteries were good.

Somebody mentioned the BCM? I'll have to ask my mechanic about that ?

Did you hear the actuator (locking) working?
If not, it could be broken.
