rear ended last night

here are some photo it was a DUI (not me) driver hit me then tried to leave and hit 2 more cars. i will give more details later.
here is how it happen, i could feel that he was going to hit me and i had no where to go. after he hits me i get and see that he is trying to leave the scene, so i grap on to the door so he wont and the guy guns it and loose control. he over corrects and goes right into on coming traffic and destroys the other car. at that point i still have not scene what my car looks like, when i did i lost all control an dtried to kill him. my brother stop me before i could get my hands around his neck. then the police show up 1-1/2hrs later no tickets given, no arrest made, no insurance taken so i ****** how do i get my car fixed with out havibg to go thur mine.

my advice is to "amend" your story, particularly the part where you said you grabbed onto the DUI drivers car, as it may imply that you ended up causing some/all of the incident (i.e. if you didn't "interfere", the rest of it wouldn't have happened).

Where in Chicago was this? I didn't hear anything about it today....maybe I'll look to see if I missed it.

Glad you are ok. By the way the hit looks you are lucky not to have whiplash. People like that need to have the maximum penalty for driving drunk. Makes my blood boils for people who put alcohol in their head rather than in their stomach. Hope the car ie repairable.

He grabbed the guy after everything was over. Not right after he was hit.

damn, atleast you are ok. if the cops showed up a police report had to have been written. just call the cops and ask them for a report number and the guys insurance.
