I’ll pad slap once assuming no warped like symptoms which could be braking deposits. After that I do new rotors and don’t turn anymore.
The all around ABS/EBS/Stability control braking algorithms I believe… at least on vehicles I have owned in recent years just accelerates the deposit issue from the thinner turned rotors and heat.
