how can they fix something under warranty and then tell you that your abusing the car and void your warranty? I say go back and b**** at them or if you have another dealership nearby go to them.

He may be S.O.L though as most dealerships now a days will "Brand" a VIN number within all Mazda registries that will flag the vehicle wherever they go...Who knows though, worth a shot I suppose.

just got the ans from the dealer and is not under warranty they also cancel my warranty so any ideas any shop that will do this tranfer case in ny

my transfer case was covered under warranty at 31k miles, the reason they canceled yours is because you modded your car before the factory warranty was over, the increase in hp and lack of any drivetrain upgrades was most likely the reason your car broke, and if not, it gave them a solid reason to disavow all coverage of your car. i would say fix it, and then get a new warrantee from a new dealer, which covers all of your aftermarket parts as well. also, a tune wouldnt hurt, no new cars should be bolted and driven agressively without a tune.

cai is fujita and the bov is turbo smart also the rear mufflers r removed thats all i got

first you need to read up on the magnus moss act, a dealer can't void a warranty that they didn't issue, it can only be done by the manufacturer. The dealer is just trying to put the bill on you for something they screwed up on. then you need to tell them that the damage caused to the transfer case was a result of you following their instructions and that they are accountable and if the situation is not rectified that they will be hearing from their lawyer and then a BBB.
