Just wondering if anyone knows if Mazda will be re-releasing the speed3 cai?

My dealer stated in August..by late October. October has past and now they are saying end of November.

Anyone?

Buler?

Doubt it will be released any time soon. Just get an aftermarket one and save some cash. They only take 30 minutes to install (very basic).

Re-release?? where did you get that info? and WHY? would you get one from the dealer, when you can get a CP-E Nano for less and is easy to service??

Some people like to keep their warranty. I for one never had any problems with my MS CAI.

LoL...havn't dealers voided warranties with the MS CAI. It all depends on the service tech. I know my tech is cool with Intake, turbo inlet (apart of intake) and CBE.

Now that's FUNNY, I just got my car serviced and NOT only did the service manager talk to me about what else I was going to do with my ride, but he even suggested what I should do next....the only thing he said was don't put a dp and I'm golden, with NO worries about "voiding" the warranty.

Thats your dealer. There are some voiding warranties on totally stock cars.

I love these conversations. My dealer told me close to the same thing. If you bring your car here for service when you should, i.e. oil changes, suggested service intervals you will not get messed with. If we dont see you after you bought the car and 20k miles later you roll in with a smoking turbo and mods, you role the dice.

Yeah..I remember seeing post...not to long ago..some members where saying that Mazda was waiting till they get all the cai's back and they would be releasing another one..hopefully with air straightener.

Really makes you want to mess with them with that attitude. Maybe they want to roll the dice in court. They cannot use the warranty to coerce business out of you. That is called "tying", I believe, and a blatant violation of federal law.

Takes 20 minutes to revert the CAI to stock airbox. This way you avoid all potential warranty problems with the dealer. I can revert my entire car to stock in an hour (except the SS which was such a PITA to install).
