So I'm finding 2 cars that meet my criteria at a dealership down in LA. I'm on the phone with the internet rep, talking about how if I buy one there I'd probably be going down on the train, and would they give me a lift from the train station. Oh sure, he says, no problem! We had somebody who recently bought a 5 that flew from San Francisco down to Long Beach and we picked him up at the airport. From following the forum posts, this of course rang a bell; and he must've been rather surprised when I immediately replied, oh, so they bought it from you!
However, I can't remember who of you that is here...how was your experience with them?
I'm now pitting them against the more local dealer: if they will do a swap or whether I will indeed be making the purchase in LA. Strange I haven't heard back yet today, since they are aware I am seriously interested. I'm not thrilled about how long these 06's have been sitting on the lot, baking in the So Cal sun for nearly a year: looking at adding that as a negotiating point....
