i noticed that there are little plastic things with wires that are glued to the plastic pieces that cover the 6x9 holes. What is the point of these things?

i remember those when i was taking the rear deck out of my crashed MSP.

The only thing I could think of is that they are wires for speakers(ie: regular protege wiring).
The rattle I hear seems to be coming from the passenger side sideskirt. It doesn't sound as far back or as high as the rear deck lid, but I'll have to check that out. I'm about ready to go to my dealer about my sub as well. The damn box sqeaks whenever the bass hits. Very annoying...

wait, as i remember, those wires didnt go anywhere.....they connected to the defroster unit........weird

i dont think they went to the sub or any of the wires coming from the front....
