haha ... i've had problems with Spinelli. but i guess it can happen to anyone. So far, other than taking a while to have my bushings changed, Albi has been flawless

i've been going to Mazda Bourassa in Laval ever since i owned the car and i must admit that im very pleased with their service!

They've always been on time, let me in the garage, changed my clutch under waranty etc....

I strongly recommend them! ...although last time i tried to get a rendez-vous they were booked for like 2 weeks... so just stay where u are!!! (evil)

Hi all, it's my first post here, don't even have my car yet (signed a contract but I have to wait for my insurance to settle on my stolen car before I can get the new one) :( . (Oh yeah, people, do not park your cars at train stations, mine got stolen on May 12, my friend's on May 26, apparently cars get stolen at a rate of 2/week/station at montreal train stations)

I went to Albi, Gabriel, and 2-20 and finally signed with 2-20 because he matched the price given to me by Gabriel and is close to my house.

I found the salesmen at both Gabriel and 2-20 nice and not too pushy (they got the hint when they tried), but I couldn't stand the guy at Albi (I forget his name and threw out his business card when I left). The guy started by telling me that it's way too soon to shop for a new car after mine got stolen, but then he pushed non-stop for me to sign a contract that day.... when I finally tried the out of "either way, I'm not ready to sign a contract until my brother looks at the car" (I had just rented a 3 from them), he tried the lame challenge of "who's deciding on YOUR car, you or your brother?" His face was hillarious when I answered "my brother". Anyways, I couldn't stand the guy trying all the typical lines to push the sale, so I didn't even consider them when it came time to sign.

As for Gabriel, the guy was super nice, my only complaint is that he spent 20 minutes showing me the damn glove compartment! and then looks at my bf and goes "would you like to see the engine sir?". Hehe, my bf's clueless about cars, I'm his mechanic! Anyways, that's to be expected I guess since it follows the norm that it's men who are interested in cars...

hehe, the salesguy at spinelli did the same thing with me when i was looking at a 3 while my car was being service (back when i had my protege5). He mentionned pretty much everything and spent a good 10 mins telling me how great the glove compartment. it is great for real but i doubt they're gona sell cars only because of a glove compartment

the other thing that amazed me bout the 3 is the size of the trunk ... you can at least fit 3 dead bodies in there.

good choice, great car =) and welcome to the mazda forums

what was your other car ?

Cavalier Z24. I don't care what anyone says about the cavaliers, I loved that car. Silver with tinted windows, 16"chrome mags, it looked good... of course I was slightly upset when the Mazda 3 came out a few months after I had just signed a 5 year contract, and I like the 3 MUCH more, but I guess this all works out for the best, now I'm getting the 3.

You should come to the meets at Julip on Thursdays.

How many of you met at the Julep? I might go next time :)

Going back on topic, Mazda de Laval kinda sucks as service. They NEVER EVER call you when they get the parts, you always have to call and ask.. they managed to get paint on my steering wheel ( god damn annoying, it was sticky and i still havn't removed it all ) .. Repairs took more than what they said...

Once i had my door handle / door vandalized by a screwdriver.. so they fixed it and repainted but somehow forgot to fix the lock as well. Shesh they didn't even try putting the key in...

My MP3 player display ****** up once, they told me i needed to have an appointment for them to look at it !! Shesh .. went to another dealer close to my house and it took 1 minute for them to look at it and they ordered a new one for me which i got 2 days after.

So i'm not really happy with them, but they are 2 minutes by walk from where i work so its quite usefull.

We were 4 MSPs and a bit later, a red turbo/intercooler P5 stopped by (i think alexander called him). We saw 2 other MSPs but they weren't with us. It'd be cool if we show up early and park all the cars next to each other

can you talk to the other guy that was with you last year in st-bruno ? (fouteur i think)

another yellow MSP showed up on my street the other day (we're 3 now). I'll see if i convince them to come too

ouin ... pfffff ... moi le monde qui font pas attention au nom des autres la ...

=)

Why I cant find a dealer around me?
I was thinking of not getting a new Mazda just because I think Mazda dealers are such an a**

need to pick up my car at delisle tonight (bang)

next time, i'm shopping for the dealer first before choosing a car model.

my brother have a cavalier, and the dealer? #1 (hippy)

a pale imitation of the MP3.

;-)

edit: j/k, its a modified protege.. turbo/suspension/rims/etc. There are also other Mazdaspeed cars like the Mazdaspeed Miata, and eventualy ( still a rumor but we all know its almost official ) the Mazdaspeed 3.

And an MP3 is all that minus the turbo... but it was there first.. FIRST!!!!!!! (crazy)
