wellz story begins when i was rear ended 2 weeks ago (bluep5) the guy sure needs some brakin lessons... and guess what.. @ this point he didnt even report into icbc yet :wtf: he's in big trouble now...

anywho.. i was like shiet... got out n was amazed the the bumper was scratched a bit... no body damage from what i can tell... until i realized the whole muffler was pushed back bout 1-2 inches... but still impressed  since the 198? volvo was in pretty bad shape...

got some time yestarday to get it to a shop, saw some protege curtesy cars... n i was like :D then it turns out i get an echo!! (omg) (hand) ah wellz... i now just floor it evertime i go n downshift to slow down.... hahaha..

hope i get my car today b4 i leave work.. hehe~~

p.s. i think paying $100 difference for the sports muffler was worth it... dun u?? :D

I can sympathize with your situation. An Echo? Weak, dude!

It's funny what you said about flooring it and downshifting. Ever since I got my rental, I have been doing the same thing. Although, I waste more gas this way. Oh well.

You know, I almost bought a 12,000 mile rental from Enterprise Car Sales. 12k on the odo and the doors were rattling, the alignment was gone, the tires were bald and the exhaust leaking. That car was beat to sh*t. Maybe one of you jokers drove it lol....

Car & Driver sums up Toyota real well - Nothing to hate, but then again nothing to love either.

hey hey hey... i downshift for a special reason... i dun feel safe w/ it's brakes... they dun seem to be that effective...

rental cars (flame2) hahaa.... what i do is gentle compared to some i hear my friends do...

haha yea 1 huge P.O.S. ... dunno y they made so many many compartments in the interior for.. there like 1 under the steering, 1 on each side of the stero, one small slot on top of that, then theres 1 glove compartment n a sunglasses?? comparment up top of that... that was wierd... hahaha....(notcool) now i think my dad's tercel good... compared to echo that is..... hahaha....

I won't even share some of the stories of rental cars I have. Let's just say my roommate is a courier and there fore when his car breaks down(he puts 1500-2000 miles a week on his car) he has to get a rental. Everytime he does there are 3 tests that we perform on them . How well they jump a particular set of railroad tracks(think dukes of hazard) how well they do a J-turn(ebrake) and how good they will do a burnout. Funny thing though he had a PT cruiser and the thing wouldn't even move if you tried to power brake it. Didn't even drag the car with ebrake on. Just plain pitiful

that is pitiful...

the only screwed up part about that is my P5 won't drag the wheels either...:'(

I'm not gonna lie to ya'll. I beat the hell out of the rental cuz, quite simply, it's not mine. Maybe also because I am trying to work off the anger of not driving my P5.
But why the neg comment, MP5? Own a rental car comp. or something? ;)
