radio reception

Anybody with bad radio reception with tinted window?

Cd player is ok but with FM, there's always a humming sound in the background.

Do you have the rear defrost on? Usually it is the cause.

i have 20% all around and sirius radio under the glass , reception is fine for radio and sattilite , dont think its tint related
every once in a while the sirius will go out if im under a large overpass/tunnel

if it sirius radio u arer talking about it is satellite reception- line of sight so to speak and being under things will cause interference

I don't have sirius.
Maybe it's the defrost, I'll test that tomorrow.

Everyone does know that the antenna on a speed is located in the rear window......ten bucks says the guy who did the tint somehow broke one of the lines on the window

I had bad reception when I originally purchased the MSP. It was a loose antenna connection behind the A-piller to the right side of the glove box. You could check that out and see if it's come loose.

Need help...

Does anyone have bad radio reception with the MazdaSpeed3? i just got the car. Plzz give me tips on how to fix this problem.(eek2)
