Radio reception

:
06 LS MS6
07 BM GT (shell has been struck from the roll)
How do we find the 07 GT BOSE reception??
I am in tampa and the 97.1 rock station which is OK with my rolla stock radio and fine with the 55090 eclipse will not scan in with the ms3 and manually selected is actually kinda crappy.

is there a better antenna available??

I use my radio plenty. (non-Bose) Haven't had any reception issues, except on the A.M. band, and the stations I have trouble with there, I have trouble with on any stereo in any car- weak signals.

I believe you are in Tampa, correct? I have 97.1 tuned in just fine, sounds crystal clear. Most of my driving is between Riverview & Temple Terrace, just for a point of reference.

Actually, Bloomingdale. Hmmm. I wonder if the tuner section is common between the HU?
thanks for the reply

Guess only floridians listen to FM

Im in CA and that's one of the annoying things about my MS3. I hear a lot of static and the reception sucks for local stations. I carpool with a few peeps and their radio gets a clearer reception w/o static. I've been wondering what can be done to improve the range and sound quality...

My experience is the opposite. My MS3 (07 w/Bose) reception beats the cr*p out of every previous car I have had. I am in CA and live in a fringe area, there is a significant mountain between me and any station, and the Mazda pulls in cleanly stations my other cars just get static.
