Well I installed it tonight. Took me about 1 hour including puting the back end on jacks and clean up. pretty easy install, the hangers were a little off making them a need a little extra work to get it on right but otherwise standard boly-on mod.
Havent taken it out yet above 4k cause i just took it around the block to make sure the install was fine and I am tired now(yard work all day long).
Sound, was exactly what I was looking for, louder but not too much louder, deep tone that doesnt get any higher pitched up through 4grand, and ill see through 6500 tomorrow. It is not a deep rumble, it is smoother than a rumble which is nice.
looks, well straight out of the box I noticed the entire can was machine tig welded and the pipe and flanges were hand tig welded, all ground and polished to a nice copper color offsetting the silver pipe/can. 3" tip so not too big and it has a perfect like 3-5mm gap all the way around it in the bumper gap. ractive stamped on top of the tip but it doesnt stick out at all so you really cant see it. stamped on top of the can too.
I am going to go to Ben at Apex sometime this week and get an estimate on a custom midpipe with possible high flow 2nd cat also.
pipe itself measured 2 1/8 in. so right under the max 2.25 recommended for engines with our displacement.
Price, I have seen a couple sites list it for 199.99 +shipping, others as high as 220-250. I got it off ebay luckily for 140 shipped so that makes it all the better.
should end up paying 250-275 for a full cat back system.
will take pics tomorrow during daylight, possible sound clip also.
