That's a nice seat. I usually don't like racing seats with the adjustable headrest, but it makes more sense for a street car. They look very comfy and you KNOW they are quality.

anybody have the corbeau wide seats?
I'm 6'5 and 275lbs. I only have a 39" waist, and it's getting smaller every month, but I have broad shoulders, so I need something with ~23-24" at the shoulders.

The Corbeau CR1 Wide has 23" shoulders, so that's what I need - but has anybody ever used them? Do they even FIT in our cars?

no offense, but does anybody trip out when they see a big dude like you get out of a Mazda protege? not the biggest car on the road...

naw... some people can't understand how I fit until they see my seat-arrangement (all the back, reclined past the b-pillar).

in all honesty, I've driven my step-dad's concorde, and I fit no better in that than in the protege. Hell, an RX330 is too small for me.

i would go with bride, cobra, momo, corbeau, recaro, or sparco as far as safety goes.

Lil freak, Im in teh same boat as you. 6'5" 275 lbs. But I fit fairly nice into the protege. My seat is setup jsut like yours haha. And people have asked me why I drive such a small car lol, Im sure it looks kinda funny........oh well I love t3h m@zd@! w00t lol
