HA HA, warm & sunny here in FL! :p

Seriously though, be careful up there! :)

I'm with you on that one. If I ever move to a snowy climate I'll buy an old beater 4wd truck for the winters and put the MSP up on blocks...but for now i'll just enjoy the hot humid florida weather.

haha i have hubcap less steelies on all year round! i like to consider them as my rally tires.. that..and I don't like to think of myself as N/A..I like to think of myself as in vacumn all day

You warm climate people suck hind tit.

I'm getting my winter tires and rims at the end of this week. Hopefully everything will fit OK. I went with some semi-cheap 16" aluminum rims with Semperit Snowsports for tires. They're not even on yet and I can't wait to take them off.:(

i donno, but i hate HOT weather. it sucks. no matter wtf you do, your still gonna be hot in HOT weather. you could be ass naked and still be hot.

cold weather is cool. you could put on like a jacket or another shirt and it's all good. i like cold weather, i like being warm in cold weather. the best is a hot tub in the snow... OMG... yyyeeeesss... and with women especially... HOLY CRAP..... OOOOOOOOHHHHHH YEAH. sauna in the snow is super tyte too... hmmmmm... i miss mammoth mountain... :'(

uhh oh yeah, snow tires. howbout those continental contiextreme tires. they have a pretty good reputation in the snow. it's on the matrix xrs awd as a stock tire.

I am partial to the Pirelli 210 snowsports. Nothing but great reviews. I'm getting them at the end of this week.

whoa, back up....does this apply to the sedan too??

whats wrong with my tires????

any answers to this?? or does this thread just apply to the bridgestones on the MSP?

i live in Ky, and usually by now, its in the 40's every day.. but this week we are expecting 70s. God its nice!!!

I cant wait for winter, im too cheap to buy snow tires, so i bet it will be fun in the MSP. :D

but not to mine?

It all depends on your climate. If you drive in a lot of snow it would be MUCH safer to get snow tires. I had a 2000 ES and I drove the stock tires in 2 winters and made it through without any accidents but there were definitely a few hair-raising moments. The stock tires SUCK in snow....but you don't have to get snows if you enjoy the occasional "high pucker factor" moments.

EDIT - I used the sedan's tires in the winter but that was when they were coming with Bridgestones on them. Now I'm not sure what they come with -- if they come with the same tires that are on the P5 then I'd look into snows.

lol, well, we get snow and ice....

i managed just fine in my 1st gen with no abs, lol, so i guess ill be ok

Not to change the subject but I just put on my studded snows on my rx-7...... this should be a fun winter car

How bad can the the stock bridgestones really be? I don't want to shell out the bacon for snow tires. Plus I don't have anywhere to store an extra set of wheels. I've driven just about anything in jsut about any weather and haven't had much trouble. The only times I ever went off the road were because I was screwing around, and that was all rear wheel drive cars. I am going to see how bad it is before buying. (it's flurrying outside now....scared...)
