Racing Beat - Another Happy Cust..

Installed the Racing Beat Cat Back today. Thank goodness for air impact wrenches. Shot some WD40 on the bolts, waited a while, and just had at them with the impact gun. Install was easy as pie!

Sounds great, no drone, little louder than stock on first throttle blips, and after about 3.5k-4k RPM. (Could also be due to the AEM short ram). Sounds nice, almost boxer engine like (Subaru), nice little rumple/ throaty, not tin like or ricer sounding.

Fit and finish... GREAT!

Got any pics? I want an exhaust that bolts right on, cause my buddy has a Greddy Evo2 catback on his 97 civic and it sounds freakin great. but on my car which was a 96 Geo Prizm i had to do custom piping from the cat and a 5zigen Fireball muffler. Eventhough the muffler was a high guality muffler it still had that weed wacker on crack sound. it got old after awhile.

Oh ya, how much?

Uh, that's a Mazdaspeed exhaust. It says so on the side, there.

I love my Racing Beat cat-back. Sounds nice and low, and I can still cruise on the highway without going deaf.

Dang, thats one subtle lookin exhaust. I didnt some searching on the site lastnight and i think the Racing beat is the exhaust for me. I even managed to find some sound clips.

How long have you had yours Ace, and how much? if u were to ship?

yep i bet it's a nice system, i was always looking for a cheap/used RB exhaust but it was never in my price range so I decided to go with the HKS exhaust. Did you feel a performance gain with the exhaust? and if so, was it worth the $400?

i got the thing used, only been on the mp3 for a yr
i got it $125 and didn't pay shipping 'cause the dude I bout it from was 2 miles away.

did i feel a performance gain. Yes, the car is quicker. now, how much Hp, i have no idea, but prolly in the neighbor hood of 5hp.

is it worth it.......YES, LOL

I have had it on my car for about 3 days before my car got totalled in the hail storm. So it isnt even broken it yet - it literally is BRAND new.

yeah, they were the size of baseballs and golf-balls. Pretty rare and crazy.
