Mazda 3 sedan
Hey Guys, I was talking to some of my VW friends and we were on the subject of suspenstion. My one friend told me about raceland coilovers. So I went to the site and found a set for the mazda 3. Has anyone happen to hear anything about them for the 3? They are really cheap as well. I was thinking about buying a set after I get my Tax income :)

Here is the site if anyone is interested: http://www.racelandus.com/coilovers/mazda-3-coilover-kit.html

Thanks,
Matt

A few people on MSF just installed theirs, since they literally just came out. I guess they ride better than stock, but the spring rates are actually less than stock. I don't understand it myself personally. I wouldn't spend less than 800 on a set of coilovers let alone these being only 400.

Yeah its really weird how cheap they are lol. I saw there stands at some VW shows and I know alot of those guys love the parts that they make so who knows. Do you have any links to what the MSF guys are saying about them?

Alot of BS in the beggining, I would read the last few pages. Ill pm you the link, hopefully that works...

I'm getting these in a week or two. Yes I know they are cheap. But I'm just using them for daily driving. Not auto crossing in them.

There good if you wanna go low. I wouldn't recommend them on the track. I know the ride is going to be harsh because there is no dampening adjustment. If you wanna just get low for a little then get these. but if you want a comfortable ride too, look in Megan Racing Coilovers. ~600$ for a dependable system that goes decently low and has great dampening adjustment.

Let us know how is turns out guy. And if you can, take some pics of the whole install and such.

Let's keep it on topic...

All I know about the Raceland's is with the Miata version...They won't blow your mind with the ride quality and many folks have proven that the spring rates can very. But for the price why not? I paid more just for my Koni Sports.

The reason why I would buy these instead of just springs is for the fact that I can change the ride height. I am not sure on how low I want to go with still making my 3 a DD. So these seem pretty logical to buy.
