Race/Test Pipe

Test pipe or Race pipe???

What do you think? I was set on the SU test pipe but I saw a post about the turboxs race pipe. They claim 30ftlb and 22hp gains... Let me know guys... thanks!

I like the SU service so far so im gonna get that but i was just wondering what the deal was with the race pipe. Its got a bend in it i believe. where as the test pipe is straight. I dont know how that works though when u install it in the car. One of them shouldnt fit if one is staright and one is bent......

The s u one is a straight pipe with a bend at the flange and the other one has a bend and a flex piece on it.

Makes sense now! I was wondering how the hell that would work.. I just ordered my test pipe from SU a few hours ago! The people there are bad ass! Thanks for your input though guys!

i just bought the S U Test pipe, im installing it tomorrow morning, im so excited, im just nervous for smoke i heard it smokes bad at idle, is that true?

ill post a sound clip tomorrow after noon, if you guys want..

Thats good to hear! Did you need the rust breaker s***? What ever its called to break the bolts loose??

the garage i do all my mods at did it for me for free, it took them 30mins, they put the car on a lift, heated up the bolts, took off the cat and replaced it with the TP. then they just did some tests to see if it leaks or vibrates...

but it was done in no-time

i love this mod, the best HP gain for the price!

well im shifting a lot sooner...

from 2nd to 3rd it feels like a rocket on my cars ass!

im telling you guys u gotta get this thing.

best part is ther is almost no sound change, it has a nice deep rumble at the start, i love it

Wow.. i didnt think it would be that much of a difference...

to be honest i actualy feel like im flying by, but im nervous its all in my head you know? i need to put my car on a drag, or dyno it to get rid of this paranoia...

all i know is i raced a carrera today and beat him.. maybe he wasnt trying his best but at the light he said.
"either my car is broken or i just got beat by a mazda"... lol

Haha... nice kill. Well, ill give my opinion later this week when mazda replaces my motor mounts. I hope its like u say it is!

Well... I got my Test pipe today from SU! It got here real quick! Ill install it after mazda decides to fix my damn motor mounts!
