Quickie shifter install question

Looked at the how-to but no pics. So before I get up under there I want to make sure I have everything I need. So do I need two 12mm box/open end wrenches, or is there enough room to work with sockets.

If I remember right you will need one wrench, also make sure you have some snap ring pliers for the inside ring. If you are putting in different bushings you will need to have something to poke out the cylinder (punch) and make sure you have something to pry out the rubber stock piece.

I got mine off with a socket and adjustable crescent. no hard, just drop the heat shield to get some moving room

Snap ring pliers are a must don't even attempt with out them it will only piss you off. I tried without and ended up dremeling down a set of needle nose pliers to make a set of lock ring pliers.

yea you MUST have the snap ring pliers..there is no other way without them..once I got a pair, we did it in roughly 20 minutes..
