I know our light bulbs are H11 for low beams. But i've been looking at D2S bulbs that come as the factory installed option.

Can i use these D2S (philips made)? will they fit our regular head lamp? i know i have to use one of these adapters

but will i be able to use regular after market ballast's?

will not work. the H11 and D2S bulbs are not interchangable.

if you want the best output, you will need to get a set of stock full replacement HID headlight housings. if you only want some crap HID's, you need to get an H11 replacement kit.

Thanks for the info, can you recommend a good brand other than DDM for h11 bulbs?

if i want the stock color should i get 4300? or is that too yellow?

go to TheRetrofitSource.com and get in touch with Matt. he will get you the right kit.

either 4500-5000k will give you the best output. color is more reliant on the projector lens, than it is with the bulbs. (for projector assemblies, like on the mazda3.)

theretrofitsource is pretty much teh "GO-TO" place for anything HID and PROPER projector retrofits

they are not THE cheapest kits, but pricing is fair. and, customer service is TOP priority. (unlike some other places)

yea, i gotta agree with statements thusfar. h11 kit is decent from theretrofitsource.com, but to run true D2S setup, you will have to retrofit new projectors into the stock housings or buy Factory OEM Hid Housings n bulbs. TRS(theretrofitsource.com) sells a nifty kit called Mini Morimoto D2s kit and you can use those in almost any housing with NO cutting required, except if you are gonna put em in our Halogen projected headlamps... Matt is VERRRRRY knowledgeable about doing this.

the D2S projectors are lacking compared to the mini H1

They are currently working on a new revision of the D2S projectors though which should outperform the Mini H1's and still let you use OEM 85122+ bulbs
