quick forge bpv help....

That is a good idea . if this is effective I will send you mine. I would like to use a different material for my shims like titanium or a high grade stainless hardened to a Rockwell finish of a gazillion lbs per elliptical gravity. You know the routine. The merge. is it official yet. **** swamp, I just realized I am now a thread jacker. I could pm you the details if needed

Patty you may have done this already, so please excuse me. For us folks new to the details of turbocharging, would you recommend a site for the theory behind the boost release valve. And does your product use the spring range to control boost on this car. As far as the ability to maintain boost levels, I mean. Thanks

I believe that howstuffworks.com and wikipedia both have articles on valves. As always, take the info with a grain of salt. Use a little critical thinking to determine what is correct, what is almost right, and what is wrong.

Here is a post from another forum that explains something that many fail to grasp, my post is #14 which is a reply to the first:

A very important thing to remember is that "boost" and "vacuum" are relative terms. Pressure differentials are all that matter.
