Quick DH question & ATR datalogging

Yeah, he will find out soon enough. You can't have two receivers pinging the OBD at the same time....

That's alright, I can leave the wires in for the AP and unplug the Dashhawk when I am using the AP. It's a bit more convenient that way...the ODB dongle for the Dashhawk was getting in the way of my leg so I needed something to move the plugs around.

Yeah, I don't like that OBD thing near my feet either. I know some people actually move the location of the OBD port itself, but I haven't tried it. I don't want to break the thing.

It just snaps out, push on the sides a bit and it will come loose. You can't move it too far because of the wires...I just zip tied it to the bracket it plugs into so it pointed horizontal instead of vertical. There is probably a better way but I was in a hurry, I'll look at it more closely one day.

Cool, thanks a lot man, I appreciate that. Yeah, I'm always afraid it's gonna get in the way of my footwork down there and end up in a big fail. It's hard for my fat ass to get down there and wrestle with it... know somewhere that rents midgets by the hour? Wait a minute... I just want the plug moved... no other plugs involved, LOL.

Well, I picked up my DH today at the post office (intercepted it before it went out for delivery, lol). Thanks again to Ti & Groceries... this mounting location is $$.
I wanted to see it off to the right of the wheel, and not through the wheel. So I mounted it with the large end of the bracket facing to the right, and mounted it as far right as I could. I had to bend the bracket outwards like 15 degrees or so to tilt towards me. Bending the bracket a bunch of times and putting in back in the dash took the most time.

I just bought a giant spool of Velcro for something else, so I thought I'd put some of the excess to good use as Groceries suggested, LOL:

Here it is mounted and you can tell it's angled towards me. It looks all scratched, but it's not.. that was just my bad cell camera:

Here's another pic, but it's a little off kilter, lol. Just to see the angle.. it's like right in my grill, which I wanted, and easy to watch while you're driving.

Finally, while I was under the dash, I took a few minutes to move that damn ODB port out of the way as Keymaster suggested, and tidied up all the cords with a few zip ties:

Now I can shift without worrying about my feet getting jammed up in OBD wires:
