Questions on 2nd Gen 3.

The exterior of the 3 is identical for the '04-'06 models. The '07 has different front and rear bumpers (front/back), foglights, and different wheels. The grills look the same, but with the different bumpers who's to say whether or not they'll fit on older models. The speed 3 has a different front grill than the standard "s" model, and a different spoiler (raised with a LED brake light integrated).

As the underlying pieces are the same I'd bet most of these parts would be interchangable between years.

Cool, Im wondering whether the current aftermarket body kits would fit the new gen.

Specifically the MS3. Is the outside body pretty much the same as the 1st gen?

No, I read in one review that the fenders were modified for the speed3 to compensate for the beefed up wheel/tire/suspension. Whether the fenders match the stock 07 mazda3 is unknown(by me).

I actually think that the grill is different. It has a single bar instead of a double. I think your right though, with a new bumper I bet it will be different.
